MOPAR JERSEY AUCTION RAISES $2080 FOR FOUNDATION

Posted March 30, 2015
Back on March 19th, the Windsor Spitfires held a silent auction of Mopar warmup jerseys worn by the team during the 2014-15 season.

The response was oustanding, as the auction raised $2,080.00 for the Windsor Spitfires Foundation; money that will go to support local charitable groups and service agencies across the region.

"Once again, our fans and the community stepped up to support the foundation," Spitfires President & Head Coach Bob Boughner said. "The money raised will be donated during the off-season to organizations in dire need of funding in Windsor & Essex County."

Trevor Murphy's jersey raised the most money, bringing in $180, while Hayden McCool and Logan Brown's jerseys each sold for $135.

A big thanks goes out to the good folks at Mopar, whose support again this season allowed this money to be raised.
