The St Clair College Alumni Assocation made a huge donation to the Windsor Spitfires Foundation at Friday's home game versus the Saginaw Spirit.

Association President Derek Renaud presented foundation Vice-President Shannon Ricker with a cheque for $5000 - money raised through its annual Family Fun Day held back in August.

The St. Clair College Alumni Association has been a supporter of the Windsor Spitfires Foundation since its inception.

Money raised annually for the foundation comes from two annual events: the Family Fun Day, held at the college's main campus each August and the St. Clair College Alumni and Friends Golf Day at Kingsville Golf Club in July.

Each year, Spitfires players and Bomber attend the Family Fun Day to sign autographs, take pictures and interact with families and fans of the team.

The Alumni Association is a proud sponsor of Windsor Spitfires Hockey. Its members meet to connect with alumni monthly at Spitfire games throughout the season, highlighted by the the “Seats in the Suite” promotion, which offers alumni the chance to attend two special games in a corporate suite.
